Apply for Leadership

While a few leadership positions may open during the Winter semester, the Accounting Society leadership team officially resets at the end of each Winter semester. The primary recruiting cycle for officers takes place over the summer.

• June 1, 2026 — Deadline to apply for an officer position
• July 1, 2026 — Leadership interviews
• July 10, 2026 — Acceptance offers sent

Applications submitted during the academic year will be kept on file and considered as positions become available or during the official summer selection process. See the club charter for more details.

Accounting Society officers are expected to contribute 2–3 hours per week. This may include:

• Weekly leadership meetings
• Holding office hours
• Planning and running events
• Supporting recruiting and career programming
• Helping with general club operations

These roles are designed to provide hands-on experience in leadership, teamwork, and professional responsibility.

Descriptions of all leadership positions and teams are outlined in the Accounting Society Charter. We strongly recommend reviewing the charter before applying so you understand the responsibilities of each role.

You do not need to be in the Accounting Program to apply.

While most leadership positions are filled by students in the Accounting Program who want to give back, underclassmen, pre-business students, and those preparing to apply to the junior core are encouraged to apply for leadership roles. We value initiative, reliability, and a desire to serve, regardless of where you are in the program.
